About the Rental Process

Select the products you need from our inventory (which goes from strollers and car seats to sterilisers and high chairs) and choose a time and location for the delivery and pick up. You can pay via PayPal but the payment will not be charged inmediately because we need to confirm your order first. Once you complete your online booking request, we will process it within 24 hours (but generally faster!) and provide you with an order confirmation. However, if your requested item is not available, we will get right back to you with suggestions for an available option. Once everything is confirmed and you are happy, we will forward you an invoice and email/sms an online payment request link. Payment is required to confirm your order.

After that, staff from Kangoolite will bring your order to your door, whether your´re staying with friends, in a hotel or serviced apartment. We also offer airport delivery and collection services. We’ll be on hand to help if needed too. Once your trip has come to an end, we´ll come to you and pick up the products. Then they will be expertly cleaned and treated so they are like new for our next guests.

We can do the delivery and pick up at your hotel, airport of arrival or vacation rental almost in all Mexico City. During the booking process, your delivery address zipcode will be required and the delivery options and rates available for that area will appear. In case they don´t because it is not wihtin our service area, you can do the pick up at our warehouse with previous appointment. The delivery fees are determined by the distance and time from our location. We may have to contact you to adjust for the distance, if the wrong option is chosen by mistake.

Usually that is no problem! Please contact us as soon as you know you’d like to extend your reservation. If the gear you are renting is available for the extra days, we can make that change for you and you will be charged for the extra days. Extensions requested less than 24 hours prior to the originally scheduled pick up time are subject to an extension fee of 20 USD.

We will contact be in contact prior arrival via email but during the delivery we could be in touch via Whatsapp, SMS or phone to make it faster. If you have any time limitations, please do let us know so we can work around your schedule. We can have all items pre-delivered and set up for you upon your arrival so you can make use of the equipment straight away.

When the delivery is done in hotels or Airbnbs, they usually accept parcels before a guest has checked in. If you would like us to deliver to your hotel before you have checked in, please ensure you have fulfilled our requirements:

  1. Email the hotel or Airbnb Host to notify them of our delivery
  2. Ensure you have provided us with the correct booking name for the reservation.

We are pleased to offer delivery services to hotels in Mexico City, most of which are happy to accept deliveries in advance of guest arrival. However, some hotels have a strict policy on accepting parcels before a guest has checked in.

If you would like us to deliver to your hotel before you have checked in, please ensure you have fulfilled our requirements:

  1. Email the hotel to notify them of our delivery
  2. Ensure you have provided us with the correct booking name for the hotel reservation.

Upon your departure, please leave all the rented equipment with concierge under “”Kangoolite” to allow quick collection.

Regarding airport, we can deliver specifically to the Airport Internacional Benito Juárez (50 USD delivery cost apply) but we will need to know your flight details so we can monitor your exit gate and wait for you there so you can enjoy your stroller or car seat since the beginning. In case there is a delay, we will need to charge 5 USD per hour.

It is always best to place your order as soon as you know your travel dates. This way items are reserved and guaranteed.  It can happen that we run out of cribs and other popular gear like stroller during high-seasons or any local special event days. We recommend booking as early as possible to be sure your family travel during the peak seasons and holidays is as smooth and magical as possible.

Our minimum hire period is 2 days for most products, unless otherwise stated. Please state the dates you wish to hire the items for and you will be invoiced accordingly.

Please note any early returns upon your own choice after the commencement of hire will not be entitled to any refund.

About the Baby Equipment

All items are diligently cleaned and sanitized between each rental; crib linens and car seat covers are washed in Free and Clear detergent, and all hard surfaces are wiped down with antibacterial solution. Strollers are either vacuumed or cleaned off with an air compressor for sand or debris, then washed down using a soft brush, and left out to dry. High chairs, boosters, crib mattresses, toys and other baby and beach equipment are wiped down using antibacterial solution. We wouldn’t send out anything we wouldn’t want to receive ourselves!

Your child’s safety is our primary concern. We research and carefully select products that are certified and highly recommended by Consumer Reports’ various review sites. Warranties are promptly sent in so we can be notified of any recalls. which we also track on the Consumer Reports’ website. Items are given a complete safety inspection on the morning of delivery and during the cleaning process.

Absolutely! Our range of baby and children equipment meets strict safety requirements, is in excellent condition and goes through a thorough cleaning and sterilization process after each and every hire. We wouldn’t send out anything we wouldn’t want to receive ourselves!

Unfortunately we do not install car seats. We provide customers with a car seat manual that includes installation instructions, but are not allowed to install a safety seat for a customer due to insurance and liability reasons. Please always refer to the user manual to make sure the car seat you are renting is properly secured and appropriately installed. Basic instructions are also typically printed on the car seat itself as a reminder/guide.

This is our cancellation policy during off seasons.

Cancelation more than 7 days prior to delivery: 100% refund
Cancellation 7 – 3 days prior to delivery: 50% refund
Cancellation 1 – 2 days prior to delivery: 25% refund
Cancellation on the day will result in 0% refund.

This is our cancellation policy during peak seasons (the week of Thanksgiving, the week before Christmas, the week of Christmas, or the week after Christmas):

Cancelation more than 14 days prior to delivery: 100% refund
Cancellation 8 – 14 days prior to delivery: 50% refund
Cancellation 3 – 7 days prior to delivery: 25% refund
Cancellation on the day or the day before the delivery will result in 0% refund.

All payments should be done via PayPal where you can pay with credit or debit card (even if you don´t have a PayPal account). In case you require another form of payment, contact us to check if we can offer you another method.

The delivery fee includes delivery, setup of most items (excluding car seats, safety gates and other baby-proofing items), and pickup at the completion of a reservation. If you will not be there for drop off it is very simple to do the setup of items like cribs yourself (we can provide user manuals online to make it even easier). If we have to return to the property for any reason that is not our fault, there will be an additional trip fee. Typically that fee is a one way delivery fee to your location.
